I bought last year's day book from this designer and knew I had to have another this year. The natural imagery and scrapbook-type design evoke simpler times gone by. I can't decide whether to use my 2009 calendar as a "day planner" or as a journal - it's that beautiful. Reminds me of the ledgers my grandfather kept in his store, when I was little.

This is an absolutely gorgeous book! I can't stop looking at it and reading the snippets of poetry. br /br /I'm surprised that it doesn't note the phases of the moon, since it's a nature book, but I wouldn't consider that much of a flaw. br /br /McMeel should make a garden planning and record-keeping book styled like this. I'd buy it!br /br /

Every year these ledger-style nature calendars are simply the most elegant and by far the most interesting. It is a pleasure to open it every day. Plus they are practical as well - plenty of room to make notes and register daily activies.br /br /I am simply amazed each year by what a lovely calendar one can buy for the price. And Amazon always has the best price - I can save you some time, no need to comparison shop.
