 Almost endless inspiration December 10, 2008
It's brimming with quick simple but very attractive designs for almost every occasion, and I do not doubt that most of the 100 designs can be completed in minutes. They do, however, rely heavily on specific designs of rubber stamps and decorative papers, but with just a little bit of ingenuity, you can make substitutions. In that respect, it's also a great resource to just thumb through for ideas. br /br /The full-color pages are large, well-organized and consistent with two pages alloted to each design. This includes a large view of the final plus a mini-alternate project or design using similar materials. The instructions are fairly brief but perfectly adequate. Also, the book itself (a paperback) has a very durable binding that allows it to lay open and relatively flat without the pages coming loose.br /br /My only reason for giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is as a caveat: since the book is from 2006, many of the supplies may no longer be available or may be difficult to come by in some areas, but as I mentioned, substitutions can be made. And that may not be a drawback at all unless you want identical results.br /br /At any rate, I'm very happy with this purchase.

I'm just beginning to make cards so when I read the reviews I thought this sounded like a good book to start. It's so much better than I expected. With these cards no one will know I'm a beginner! It also has very helpful pointers about supplies and techniques. It was an excellent choice I imagine I will use it for a long time to come.
